A Time Such as This

A still from the video of Dan and Donna talking about Dan's election as bishop in 1979, how he was bullied to withdraw his name after two more votes to reaffirm his election and his four year fight to remain a pastor after the bishop who took over in his place decided he couldn't remain a pastor unless he divorced his husband.

This project is in progress - but will likely chronicle the journey from the gay Lutheran pastor who was elected in 1979 to the installation of Bishop Guy Erwin in more than 30 years later.
